For Amoy Barnes for New York City Council, I worked directly with the candidate and we created her video strategy together. I produced, wrote and directed her launch video, “Face the Morning,” which visualized the daily struggles of Staten Islanders through their morning rituals. Each of these New Yorkers were then given their own, dedicated video vignette and accompanying issue they represented, and were featured on the priorities page of Amoy Barnes’ Website.

For Amoy Barnes’ campaign for city council, I was asked to produce a video featuring a family in NYCHA. My idea was to have this brother and sister interview each other with questions they had never seen before, to capture their real emotional reactions while also informing the audience about their struggles of living in NYCHA.

I directed, filmed, (along with Braulio Lin) and edited this video.

As the Digital Content Producer for Governor Kathy Hochul’s campaign, I created over 100 videos for her social media accounts, from the idea to filming to the final edit. I traveled the state with Governor Hochul, producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

I produced, filmed, co-wrote and directed Assemblymember Grace Lee’s launch video for her inaugural campaign, showing how she makes it happen every day as a mother, activist, and entrepreneur.

For Governor Hochul’s 2022 campaign, I was the lead video producer for the campaign’s social media accounts. For this video, I filmed this speech and edited together footage I had gathered from the countless rallies and events I attended over the almost year-long campaign. The video not only commemorated the historic win, but also the amazing people behind the victory.

For Amoy Barnes’s 2021 campaign  for City Council, the campaign wanted a video to explain the newly-established system of ranked-choice voting in NYC elections. So, I produced (wrote, filmed and edited) this upbeat and informative Wes Anderson-style explainer video for ranked choice voting, illustrating how this process works through a class election.

For Kenya Handy-Hilliard’s 2021 campaign for city council, I produced, filmed, co-wrote and directed her launch video, showcasing how Handy-Hilliard listens to her community and hears their struggle, featuring a compilation of recorded voices from her district.

For Dawn Smalls’s 2018 campaign for New York City Public Advocate, I produced (filmed, edited) this video featuring Dawn’s hairstylist describing what he admires about her while doing her hair. The campaign and I both thought it was a unique perspective for a “testimonial” and showed the candidate literally and figuratively with her hair down, in a relatable moment.

As the Digital Content Producer for Governor Kathy Hochul’s 2022 gubernatorial campaign, I produced, filmed, and edited this video for her social media, featuring two enthusiastic canvassers knocking doors and connecting with voters.
